PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS are welcome to attend one luncheon without signing up for membership.   The OWC would like to ensure that your first luncheon be special.  You can either call our Reservation phone line (254) 520-2211 or email a reservation request, FH.Reservations@gmail.com. Please include that you are eligible for membership and the unit to which your spouse is assigned.

GUESTS are welcome to attend our Luncheons.  We usually hold a Membership Meeting Program and Luncheon or other Special Event once a month from September thru May. These fun events are usually scheduled the second Wednesday of the month.  We try our best to stay with this schedule but there are times when we must change the dates, so please check back often. A list of this year’s schedule and events are provided below.

With your partnership and support our great organization can continue to better serve our community as we continue to make new friends and foster relationships.  Make your reservations early, bring a friend and be ready to shop, socialize and enjoy the events our great board members have planned for us all!

Now that you have decided to join us there are two decisions for you to make every month….

“Do you want permanent reservations?
&
“What menu selection do you prefer?”

Reservations Policy for 2009-2010

A permanent reservation means that you do not need to call in for each Membership Meeting/Program—you are already accounted for, and that you are paid in full for the year (9 Membership Meeting/Programs at $15 for a total of $135,  OR half of the year for $60; then in January the remaining $75 is due).  You only need to call (at least a week prior) to cancel your reservation.

A non-permanent reservation means you need to call (254-520-2211) or e-mail (FH.Reservations@Gmail.com) your reservation for each Membership Meeting/Program if you plan to attend, and that payment is due the day of the Membership Meeting/Program.   AFTER MAKING A RESERVATION: IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND, AND DO NOT CANCEL BEFORE THE DEADLINE, YOU WILL STILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR THAT Membership Meeting/Program.

Effective 2006-2007 year, if at any time you become delinquent in your payment, a member of the reservation committee will contact you by phone and/or by email regarding this issue.  If payment is not made within 7 days, a written notice will be sent and your membership suspended until payment is made.

Checks and Credit Card Policies:Each year the FHOWC loses money because of bad checks or credit card transactions. To counter this problem, beginning the 2009-2010 year, the following policies apply.

FHOWC accepts only VISA and MASTERCARD accounts. Credit card charges must have a minimum transaction fee of $25.00. Transactions less than this amount need to be made by cash or check.

All checks will be deposited within three business days of a military payday. Checks returned for in-sufficient funds will be assessed a fee of $35.00 and you will no longer be allowed to submit payment via check for the remaining membership year.

A member of the Reservations Committee will contact you if there is a problem with either a credit card transaction or a returned check. If the payment and any assessed fees are not made within 7 days, a written notice will be sent to your address of record and your membership will be suspended until payment is made.
