Featured Volunteers for January 2010

These two ladies were everywhere leading up to and at Wild West!

Cyndi Turner and Becky Roth were in charge of publicity and they did a great job.  They attended chamber functions, they were on the radio; fliers were everywhere; everything you could think of.  BRAVO ladies!!!

Featured Volunteers for December 2009

Lonnie Maddux spent her Christmas vacation in a unique way this year, preparing for Wild West.  As the chair for decorations, she and her children spent much of Christmas break in the loan closet painting cactus, cleaning blackjack tables and all kinds of decorations.   She was also in charge of chips, no small task as in no chips, no money!  The chips or the handling of chips was probably the largest part of our fundraising the evening of the event and keeping them balanced can be challenging.

Cleopatra Stanonick worked tirelessly recruiting volunteers and maintaining an ever changing roster of volunteers.  She was responsible for scheduling volunteers for everything from set-up to clean-up to dealers; her best asset, a positive attitude.

Featured Volunteers for November 2009

Kelly Armstrong was nominated for her work on the Holiday Bazaar.  Kelly’s primary job was ticket sales.  Tickets were sold before and during the event.  She also worked tirelessly throughout the event doing whatever was asked of her with a warm, positive, can do spirit.

Amanda Gildon was nominated for her work on Wild West Night.  Amanda allowed her home to serve as the drop off point for raffle items.    This was no small task as all kinds of items began to arrive.  Her nursery filled up quickly!
